If you often feel the same as me, you sit in the pub in the evening and want to play a hearty round of Schafkopf with your friends, but no one has the necessary change with them, no one wants to count and write it down. Then this app is just right for you.
Simply enter the 4 names of the players, the respective values of the games (Wenz, Geier, Rufspiel, etc.), as well as the values per runner, Schneider and Black. These values can also be saved so that you don't have to repeat all the information for every new Schafkopf round.
And you're ready to go.
Now simply select the respective checkboxes after each game and the app will calculate for you. It is important to always tick the winners. For example, if player B loses a Wenz, players A, player C and player D must be checked here.
After pressing the "Calculate" button, the respective game amount is also read out by a nice female voice, so that your fellow players also know how expensive the last game was. However, if it annoys you, the good lady can be silenced by making the right selection in the menu. If the winner is selected incorrectly (Wenz only ticked 2 winners), you will hear a "meep" and feel a long vibration. If the selection is correct, a short vibration.
There is also a history view where all game results for the entire evening can be seen. This history can also be exported as a csv file so that you can open it later on your computer with Excel and possibly send it to your friends if you have lost badly ;-)
This file ends up in the main directory of the device in the SchafkopfHistory folder.
This history can also be loaded into the main app game view at any time in order to continue playing at this score.
By and large, that was it. Simply familiarize yourself with the app a little and test all the functions so that you can show off it on the next round of Schafkopf.
Since it is my first self-programmed app, I would be happy if you would contact me via email first before giving a bad review. I'll take care of any bugs immediately, and of course I'm also happy to integrate additional features into the app.
- now with stick/pot, if you want to continue playing without stick/pot, simply leave the input field for the amount empty and the usual view will appear. The stick/pot can be played in all games as there are different variants.
- you can make it disappear by long tapping on the logo in the game mode view --> Benefit: less scrolling required as the game progresses
